Myofascial Yin
A combination class of body/mind myofascial therapy and traditional Yin Yoga where poses are held for time. You will experience simple meditation, breath awareness, yoga postures and stretches, as well as the use of foam rollers, therapy balls and bolsters to open, release, relax and invigorate the body. With consideration for the individual needs of each class participant, you will receive individual, hands on assistance and be able to use these ideas at home. Everyone is welcome.

Hatha Yoga
Hatha yoga refers to a set of physical exercises (known as asanas or postures), and sequences of asanas, designed to align your connective tissue, muscles, and bones. The postures are also designed to open the many channels of the body—especially the main channel, the spine—so that energy can flow freely.
It is at the root of the tree of Yoga, where many other styles have emerged from.

Self Myofascial Release (SMR)
Using the foam roller, therapy balls, and other props (including the Back Mitra) to loosen tension in muscles and connective tissue. This type of self-care provides an excellent means of obtaining fascial release and has been used by therapists, athletes, and the general public alike to increase range of motion (ROM) and alleviate pain in trigger points. You will learn techniques, movements, and stretches that you can do at home to eliminate tension-associated aches and pains, prevent injury before it occurs, boost recovery time, and regulate circulation to body tissue. Studies show that SMR (slef-myofascial release) will increase ROM if performed before static stretching!
